Just checking in from holidays to post that Justin Townes Earle is touring Aust/NZ again in September and October. Tickets here. I think it is not letting me buy one because I am not located in Australia, ironic ha. Hope there are some when I get back.

hey guess what yesterday in car I heard Lucky Oceans,one of the founders of AATW, on RN do an intro and play tracks from the new Willy and Asleep At The Wheel. Plus Bob Wills in between.
Sometimes any old excuse will do to be late to an important meeting you are chairing.
Talkin about gigs etc - The Saw Doctors are back and playing live while (whilst) I'm in Ireland - but 200ks away - now in Oz I'd drive in a blink but there 200ks can be a airline flight.
And the Proclaimers, with great new album are NOT playing in Scootlund while I'm there.
So, I'm going to go out to Bunnings, buy some wood, nails and screws, build a bridge .... and get over it.

Hey Francis, not sure when you are in Scotland, but The Proclaimers are in Oz with the B52s in November. 2 shows at the Enmore in Sydney on 25/26th and other dates around the country.
Hoping they'll do their own sideshows too.
