How sad. I've got one of the albums she made for Chess at home, and I've always loved it. She was one of the great blues belters.

I didn't mention it so as to not make it all about moi but ... I will be in Chicago for 5 days in July and looked at all the clubs to see who was playing. Koko was booked for one of them and so I thought I was going to get to see her. ;-(
