Hello from the UK. Great blog - I've dropped by a few times and decided it was time to say hi.
I'm a big fan of all kinds of music, especially Lucinda Williams, Leonard Cohen and most of the others you write about.
Im off to see Jason Townes Earle in January, supporting Kathy Mattea. It was you that convinced me I should go (though I probably would have gone anyway - possibly). I've seen his dad a few times, and if he is half as good as the old man, it should be a hell of a gig.
Cheers for now.

Hey Andre, thanks for stopping by and the comments. I am of the opinion, the more comments the better so a few duplicates here and there don't hurt. ;-)
Ah now, I was listening to some of your 8tracks the other day. I'm working on a Christmas one at the mo, we'll have to see how ours compare.
I'd like to see Kathy Mattea, I'm glad her Coal album got a Grammy nom, the rest are pretty underwhelming I think so I hope she wins. I hope you get a decent sized set from Justin even though he's opening.

I'm looking forward to Kathy Mattea as well as Justin. I have just one of her albums from way back when - she's one of those people who has never quite been on my radar - I don't know why.
I'll be seeing Rhiannon Giddens of the Carolina Chocolate Drops on Friday which should be good. There are lots of interesting people coming around over the next few weeks. A lot go to Celtic Connections in Glasgow and then do a little tour before heading home.
