First thought: "Slash from Guns and Roses" is an awesome band name! Second thought: Oh, it's probably just Slash, from Guns and Roses.

Yet another sweet playlist, Amanda. I'm going to have to get off my backside and get with the 8tracks program.

Kudos for remembering The Deadly Snakes.

I have seen Slash play. It was with Bobby Blue Bland at a Long Beach Blues fest show in 96 I think. Wasn't that bad. Slash got through the song and played some passable blues. But he did look trashed.

Which is how he usually looked back then.

heh. The guitar solo on the Hawks in LA song ends the same as Page's "Stairway to Heaven" solo.

The blogosphere needs you, Shaun! Who else wouldhave noticed that!

I do remember the Deadly Snakes, it was you who rec'd 'em.

Thanks Tim, and yes indeed you must get 8tracking ...
