Blogspot's finest, Boney Earnest has done a superlative muxtape of rarities, love tracks and cover by Gillian Welch and David Rawlings.

Darn! You've now discovered Hayes Carll. I've checked in on your site from time to time ever since you visted the Dwight Yoakam message board way back when. I've been enjoying your Muxtapes and had planned to share one with you if I ever figured out how to make one (non 21st Century Girl here). Was definitely going to put Hayes on there. Oh well, glad he's getting new fans! And glad to know I was right that you would enjoy him. They have a lot of his shows on www.archive.org if you want to hear some of his other stuff. Take care.

Hi Cara, thanks for stopping by. I love Hayes, and have been a fan for a few years since his first couple of records. There was a bad review of Trouble in Mind in one of the Sydney papers today actually -- ruined my morning! I'm hoping to write about it for Hickory Wind this weekend. Here's something I wrote about him in 2005 on the old blog.

Would love to hear your muxtape! It's very simple once you start.
