Snark Partially Revoked By Amanda on April 23, 2008 4:45 PM | Permalink | Comments (7)
I whined a little down the page about the lack of reviews in print of the fabbo John Hiatt gig, Drum Media took their sweet time but they've got one. Don't squint, click for big version. I didn't mention Henry Wagons in my review, I thought he was pretty good. His band had their album launch at the Hopetoun a weekend or two ago and I almost got my act together to go. Almost.

Hey Amanda. Thanks for posting the review. Don't see the Drum Media too often on the Streets of Darwin. :-)

Just caught up with this post Amanda. I did grumble - to myself cause no-one else cares - on the same subject.
From the Ross Mc review, it would seem that JH played an identical set to the one I completely loved at National Theatre in St Kilda.
Zero in terms of reviews here, as the first show clashed with the Wilco show that seemed to suck up every critical word in the air in Melbs.
JH's pleasure in providing what the audience really wanted was very much appreciated. He seems, as they say in the USA, to be in a good place. As was I after the show..."Icy Blue Heart" was spine tingling!
